Fedora 8

I’ve installed Fedora 8 at home. Overall, it’s quite nice. Lots of things are updated compared to Fedora 6, which is what I was running before. The rendering of fonts and other things seems much crisper than before – I think it’s a new rendering engine. I’m running KDE.

I’m having some trouble getting my rsync server running – I’m having some trouble with SELinux – I wasn’t running it before. I’m trying to resist the temptation to such SELinux off. Usually the SELinux Troubleshooter give obvious solutitions, but this time, it’s asking me to change the security context of “unknown” files.
