Sam and I went to another CMASS launch Sunday. We lost Max’s Alpha II “Orange Thing” Charlie-Brown-Style (treed). It was very windy, 20 mph gusting to 30. We tried the wait out the wind before launching the new rocket (Estes Vagabond, E engine), but couldn’t resist. We angled it into the wind a bit too much, and though we lost it into the ground, but spotted it on it’s parachute just a hundred feet up.

We’re looking forward to the spring.
