About Greg Nichols

I’m a technologist currently working as a Principal Engineer in Red Hat’s hardware certification program. I’m responsible for the development of Red Hat’s hardware certification test suite, a Python application that detects hardware devices on a system, then schedules tests from its library as appropriate. This role is a bit of a shift for me; most my prior experience is in web applications development. I’ve worked for Nortel, Macromedia, and a number of smaller companies and start-ups.
